1972 Fender Telecaster

The 1972 model year is considered by some to be the last of the "great ones".  There were still some Pre-CBS vestiges on these guitars and the build quality and tone were fantastic.

This particular Tele is really beyond belief.  At nearly 45 years old, it is in 100% original, unmolested condition.  You'd be hard-pressed to find a better example from this time period.  The neck is simply perfect, and the tone is everything you'd ever want out of a Telecaster.  It's never been apart and never been mucked with, which we think factors into what makes this guitar sound so damn good.

Beautiful blonde finish with black pickguard.  The body is ash and appears to be one-piece.  You can see the ash figuring through the blonde finish but it's faint and the camera has a hard time picking it up.  Comes with the Fender custom case for 1972 with light orange interior that looks really cool with the blonde guitar in there.

Cosmetically, there is the start of some of the desirable checking in the finish, and typical play wear and marks for a 45 year old guitar.  Our scale isn't ideal for weighing guitars but it's approximately 8-3/4 lbs.
